Plan checking, permitting, and mapping

The City of Santa Ana  Public Works is pleased to announce the acceptance of online plan submittal for electronic plan check using  our electronic plan check system ProjectDox.

Public Works Agency Development Engineering section staff performs a variety of functions related to land development and permitting construction within the public right-of-way. The section reviews plans for permits work in public right of way, such as street improvements, excavations for utility improvements, wireless facilities, and traffic lane closures.

The section also assists land development activity on private property by review of site plans during entitlement phase, technical review and processing of final subdivision maps, The Development Engineering section also reviews grading plans and storm Water Quality Management  Plans (WQMP), as well as calculates and collects development impact fees.
