Get excited as we host our second annual Santa Ana Tết (Lunar New Year) Festival, hosted in collaboration by the Santa Ana Parks, Recreation & Community Services Agency and the Santa Ana  Public Library. Come together and celebrate the year of the snake with us during this free family-friendly event. Stay tuned for additional information. The Tết (Lunar New Year) Festival will commemorate our community’s Asian and Vietnamese cultures and become a new large-scale event on the City’s calendar. Click here to save the date.

Get ready to enjoy a day of cultural celebration featuring:

  • Cultural performances and exhibits
  • Live entertainment (lion dance and dragon dance)
  • Dancing
  • Food vendors
  • Library lane and resources
  • Kids zone and inflatables
  • And a fireworks show at 5:45 p.m.!

Parking

On-site event parking is available at no cost. Parking lot access points are located on the cross streets of Centennial Road and South Fairview Street & the cross streets of Edinger Avenue and South Mohawk Drive.

  • Please note food vendor and exhibitor/vendor applicaitons will open on December 9, 2024 at 9 a.m. and close on January 8, 2025 at 5 p.m.
  • Please note that filling out the inquiry form does not guarantee a spot in our events.

Application FAQs

Is there a booth or vendor cost if selected?

For this city event, there is no cost for the selected food vendors or exhibitors. However, each organization is responsible for providing their own equipment, such as tables, chairs, or canopies.

Are there any items that vendors cannot sell at Tết (Lunar New Year) Festival?

Yes, there are restrictions, including but not limited to: liquor, CBD products, weapons, or any items deemed inappropriate for a family-friendly event.

When do vendor applications open? Is it too late to apply?

Interest forms open starting December 9, 2025, and close on January 8, 2025. Please submit your form within this timeframe. If selected, a city representative will reach out with further event information and logistics after the application window closes.

What should I expect after submitting a vendor inquiry?

Due to the high volume of applications received, only approved vendors will receive an email with event information within 1-2 weeks. Please double check your SPAM folder.

What should I do if I don’t hear back about my vendor application?

If you don’t hear back after a couple weeks, we were likely unable to accept your business for our events due to reaching maximum capacity. If you have further questions feel free to reach out to specialevents@santa-ana.org

Please do not submit more than one inquiry for this event for the same business concept.
