Celebrate our local Hispanic and Latino communities on September 14-15, 2024 at Santa Ana’s very own Fiestas Patrias! Taking place on Flower Street between Civic Center Drive and Santa Ana Boulevard, this event celebrates the independence of various Latin American countries by commemorating the very people whom reside within our city. The FREE family-friendly event and open to all residents and non-residents.

- Marilyn is best known for her Mexican Regional music style.

El Grito de Ceremonia

On Saturday, September 17, the City of Santa Ana with the Consulate of Mexico will host the ceremonial El Grito De Independencia baginning at 7:00pm on the festival's main stage. Mexico's official El Grito Ceremony is on September 15 and honors the traditional call to arms on the eve of Mexican Independence Day. It is a synchronized call that dates back to 1810 and celebrates the anniversary of the fight for Mexican Independence.
Parade information and route map

3:00pm - 5:00pm
Parade starting location will be on Main Street and Washington Street , continuing towards Civic Center Drive. Once the parade reaches the Main and Civic Center cross streets, there will be a parade exhibition area with performances and limited guest seating. The parade will then continue and turn right onto Civic Center Drive and end at Ross Street near the main event stage.

All Fiestas Patrias applications have been been received for this years 2023 parade, thank you all your submissions and your interest. This years event will bring a special twist in the form of the theme Hispanic Heritage: Past to Present. It will feature additional countries who also celebrate their independence all throughout Latin America.

The 2023 Fiestas Patrias Beer Garden is brought to you by United Across Borders. Must purchase an admittance wristband and be 21+ years to enter.

Fiestas Patrias is taking place in the Santa Ana Civic Center along Flower Street, between Civic Center Drive and Santa Ana Boulevard. The approximate address is 602 N Flower Street, Santa Ana, CA 92703.
Parking
$10 per day special event parking rate will apply for cash only transactions upon entry. Regular County of Orange parking rates will apply for credit card transactions. Paid parking is available at the following parking garages:

There is limited metered street parking, as well as parking at other City and County-owned parking garages, in the Civic Center and Downtown area. Please be mindful of on-going construction in the area and give yourself plenty of time to maneuver around the construction and road closures.
Street Closures
- Beginning Friday, September 15 at 6:00am street closures will take into effect on Flower Street at the intersections of:
- Civic Center Street and Flower Street
- Santa Ana Boulevard and Flower Street
- West 6th Street and Flower Street
- Coach Dick Hill Way and West 6th Street
- On Sunday, September 17 at 8:00am, street closures will take into effect for the parade.
