City Hall and all non-essential City facilities are closed Monday, April 1 in observance of Cesar Chavez Day. Street sweeping is canceled on Monday, but waste/recycling pick-up will take place as normal. If you require assistance while we're closed, submit a request using this form.

Bring your picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs to enjoy  a free outdoor live performance of William Shakespeare's Highly acclaimed The Tragedy of Hamlet.

Get ready for a tragic tale, as a shattered young Hamlet returns to Elsinore to attend his father’s funeral and his mother’s marriage to his uncle. This harrowing encounter propels him down a perilous path of murder, madness, and revenge!

This performance will take place at Birch Park on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the live performance will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spots and public parking will be available adjacent to the park.

Please note:  Concessions will be available for purchase. Food trucks will not be present at the event, but guests are welcomed to bring their own picnics and dinner to the park.
