Contract instructor opportunities
The City of Santa Ana’s Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Agency (PRCSA) is looking for community driven instructors to offer a variety of classes and programs to our residents and surrounding communities. The best contract instructor candidates are individuals who have a sincere interest in community service and a desire to supplement their existing income. Please note, classes designed to sell or recommend products from your business are strictly prohibited.
Applying to become an instructor
- We recommend reviewing our recreational brochure CULTURA: Community Connection Guide to verify that a similar program is not already offered.
- Complete contract instructor interest form.
- Submissions will be reviewed based upon need.
- If selected, instructors will be notified to set-up a phone/virtual interview meeting.
Currently seeking:
- Adult dance
- English as a second language
- Hip hop dance
- STEAM
- Technology for all ages
- Tutoring
- Math development
- Reading development
Not currently accepting or seeking:
- Ballet dance
- Basketball
- Folklorico dance
- Gymnastics
- Karate
- Multi-Sport
- Soccer
- Yoga
- Zumba
