Bristol-Tolliver Street urban greening project

Conceptual site plan for the Bristol-Tolliver Street Urban Greening Project in Santa Ana. The design spans from Tolliver Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School along Bristol Street. The plan includes: -A playground with a rubber surface and shade structures -A picnic area with benches and water fountains -A stormwater turf area with underground reuse system -Exercise equipment with rubber surfacing -Enhanced pavements, decorative fencing, and bioretention basins -Two proposed future elements: a linear skate park and a full-size basketball court, both pending budget approval -Landscaping includes raised berms, drought-tolerant plants, and buffer zones

Project description

The project features construction of a new 1.25-acre City park with a stormwater treatment and reuse system. The project will help improve water quality in the Newport Bay Watershed and provide new recreational opportunities for the public.

Grand opening

Official ribbon cutting  date to be determined (tentatively targeting January/February 2026)
