Work Experience (WEX)

The Work Experience (WEX) program offers businesses a no-cost opportunity to attract new talent while helping individuals with limited or no work experience build valuable job skills. The program is designed to support participants on their path to unsubsidized employment and long-term self-sufficiency.

Through WEX, businesses can provide up to 40 hours of hands-on training per week for up to 12 weeks. During this time, participants’ wages are fully subsidized. Employers play a key role in helping trainees develop strong work habits and practical skills that enhance their chances of securing permanent employment.
