If you are interested in vocational training, please complete the following steps:

  1. Attend a mandatory WORK Center orientation.  Orientations are held every other Monday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. No appointments necessary, walk-ins are welcome.  Please check the calendar to identify a date that is convenient for you (www.santa-ana.org/departments/santa-ana-work-center/). The orientation will provide a comprehensive overview and the specific requirements of services funded under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), including job training opportunities.
  2. Create a CalJOBS account at www.caljobs.ca.gov. CalJOBS is California’s online resource to help job seekers navigate the state’s workforce services. The WORK Center will use CalJOBS to assist you in navigating through WIOA services.
  3. Upon completion of the orientation and CalJOBS registration, a career advisor will provide instructions on applying for services and scheduling your next steps.
