Pre-registration

Businesses and independent contractors wishing to submit an initial pre-registration form in lieu of an immediate business license application and registration payment may do so by clicking here or downloading a pre-registration form.  Click here to download.

  • Submit in person to the Santa Ana Business Tax Office located in City Hall Ross Annex - 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701 (Business Tax Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  City hall is closed on alternate Fridays).
  • Submit by mail to Santa Ana Business Tax Office M-15, P.O. Box 1964, Santa Ana CA 92702-1964. When sending by Express Carrier – UPS or FedEx - send to Santa Ana Business Tax Office M-15, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana CA 92701.
  • Submit by email to taxholidaypre-registration@santa-ana.org as a PDF or TIFF email attachment.

3rd party pre-registration

Attorneys, CPAs, Public Accountants, Tax Preparers, Trustees, and other fiduciaries and agents may submit a 3rd party pre-registration request on behalf of clients.
