Cannabis Festivals - City of Santa Ana

The City of Santa Ana (City) will be hosting its first cannabis festival in 2024 at a venue approved by the City, as allowed per the Ordinance of the Santa Ana Municipal Code (SAMC). Subsequent cannabis festivals and/or other non-cannabis festivals may occur contingent upon the success and safety of the first cannabis festival.

Goals of Cannabis Festival

Economic development and promotion of cannabis businesses based in Santa Ana;
Increase community awareness of cannabis regulations and health related benefits; and,
Provide educational information regarding the use of tax revenue derived from the cannabis industry.

In preparation for the first cannabis consumption festival, the City is releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to select an event production company to assist the City with the event.
