The Santa Ana Public Library is happy to announce that effective July 1, the Library will no longer charge any overdue fines or rental fees. Library patrons will still be responsible for lost or damaged items. The Library is excited to follow the practice of many libraries across the nation by removing this barrier to accessible and equitable library services. Additionally, to give patrons a fresh start, the Library will waive all the existing fines/fees, including lost and damaged items, accrued before July 1, 2021.
