Start a New Chapter: No Fines No Fees

The Santa Ana Public Library is happy to announce that effective July 1, 2021, the Library will not charge any overdue fines or rental fees. Library patrons will still be responsible for lost or damaged items. The Library is excited to follow the practice of many libraries around the country by removing this potential barrier to library services. Additionally, to give patrons a fresh start, the Library will waive all the existing fines/fees, including lost and damaged items, accrued before July 1, 2021. For more information, please review the Renewal Policy, Overdue Charges, and Other Fees document.
