On January 21, 2022, at approximately 4:35 a.m., Marco Ramirez (64) was transported to the hospital from 5100 West Westminster Avenue by medical personnel. On February 28, 2022, the Santa Ana Police Department received notification from the Orange County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office that Ramirez was pronounced deceased. Based on information received, it is possible Ramirez could have been involved in a physical altercation prior to being transported to the hospital.
