The City of Santa Ana is proud to recognize Santa Ana's military heroes for their service through the City's Military Banner Program. Family members and loved ones may nominate an active duty service member from any branch of the military to be honored with a street banner with the service member's name and photo. The banner will be prominently displayed on one of the City's streetlight poles along MacArthur Boulevard or Civic Center Drive.
To be considered for banner placement, the service member must meet the following qualifications:
- Be considered active service member of the United States Armed Forces.
- Have been a Santa Ana resident at the time of enlistment.
You can apply online or by mail. If you would like to apply for a military banner for a family member currently serving, please download the Military Banner Application materials below or fill out the online form.
To complete the application for a banner, please submit the following materials:
- Military Banner Program application
- A photo of the military member (either printed or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org)
