Trash and recycling collection resumes

On July 14, Republic Services resumed regular trash and recycling collection and is providing extra drivers and vehicles to empty carts that weren’t collected over the past week. Residents should leave trash and recycling carts at the curb until they have been serviced.  Read more

High winds forecast in Orange County on November 6 & 7

Strong Santa Ana winds are forecasted in Orange County on Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon, Nov. 6 and 7, 2024.  The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning that is in effect from Wednesday through Thursday afternoon for inland Orange County that will bring 25 to 35 mph winds from the Northeast, with occasional strong wind gusts of over 60 mph. Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.  Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Please be cautious of downed trees, debris and power lines, low visibility caused by dust, and risks to high-profile vehicles.  For downed power lines, call 911.
