This seven-member board will institute policies and procedures for the administration and enforcement of the Rent Stabilization and Just Cause Eviction Ordinance, which limits rent increases and creates new renter protections. Additionally, the board will conduct hearings regarding petitions, applications and appeals filed by landlords or tenants; assess City staffing for the management of the rent and eviction ordinance; and other tasks.
