Due to labor issues at Republic Services, trash and recycling collection in Santa Ana is delayed this week.

Residents in impacted areas are advised to leave trash carts on the curb (not on the street) until they have been serviced. Street sweeping will occur as scheduled this week, even if trash and recycling bins have not been emptied.

Republic Services will implement an accelerated recovery schedule that includes working through the weekend to catch up on any missed collections as quickly as possible. We are actively working with Republic Services to resolve this situation and to resume normal service. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

For questions, please contact Republic Services at 657-467-6220 or santaana@republicservices.com.

We will continue to update residents. Please visit the City website and download the mySantaAna app for future notifications.
