Join Santa Ana’s Parks & Recreation and Public Works Agencies to spruce up Santa Ana parks.

The City of Santa Ana thrives on creating open spaces where the community can gather to recreate and engage in positive wellness activities. Parks are the perfect example of outdoor settings that promote healthy lifestyles. With parks playing such a vital role in the community’s well-being, the City consistently seeks opportunities to raise awareness of environmental responsibility and encourage our resident’s to reach their wellness goals.

As Earth Day approaches, what better way to celebrate environmental awareness than to come together and help tidy up Santa Ana Parks? Take part in the inaugural Me Encanta Santa Ana event Saturday, April 20, 2024 as the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Agency (PRCSA) and Public Works Agency (PWA) engage in park projects that will enhance the look and feel of our neighborhood parks with your help. Celebrate Earth Day together and help beautify YOUR city’s park facilities, clean up fields and garden spaces. Join us in working alongside city staff as we collaborate on specialty service projects around Santa Ana. The City works every day to deliver efficient public services, but on this special day, we are opening the door to the community to work on beautifying our City as a team.

Projects will be listed on www.santa-ana.org/me-encanta/ for residents and community groups to volunteer and participate. All registered participants will receive a thank you meal and the first ever Me Encanta Santa Ana community shirt. This shirt will perfectly embrace the heart of the Santa Ana community and serve as a beacon of pride, as we continue this volunteer day for years to come. After a fulfilling morning of service, end the day with a special celebration.

Show off your community pride by livening up the heart of Orange County and be part of spearheading the environmental movement to further prove why we all love Santa Ana!
