On Monday, July 14, Republic Services resumed regular trash and recycling collection following last week’s delays due to labor issues at the company.
Republic worked through the weekend to make up for missing routes and is continuing to work to empty any trash carts remaining from last week. Residents should leave trash carts at the curb until they have been serviced.
Republic has over 30 trucks focused on residential routes and 39 trucks servicing commercial routes, with additional drivers and vehicles arriving from out of state to assist in the recovery efforts.
Street sweeping
Street sweeping will be on the normal schedule this week. If your trash/recycling has not been picked up and it is your street sweeping day, please leave your trash cart on the curb (not on the street) to allow the street sweeper to pass.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
