Orange County declares emergency due to former Tustin Marine Corps Air Station hangar fire

Nov. 13 Update: The City of Tustin is now handling the emergency response to the Tustin hangar fire. They have a new webpage where you can get updates about the current hangar fire conditions and other information and resources.
The County of Orange released an important update on Nov. 9 about the Tustin hangar fire.
The County of Orange has declared a local emergency due to the former Tustin Marine Corps Air Station hangar fire. The local emergency has been declared to assist the County in ensuring the proper resources are provided after the fire to assist with remediation.
Go to the the link for information and safety guidelines from the County. The City of Santa Ana will continue to stay in contact with the County and other area agencies to monitor the situation and provide updates to the public as needed.
