Paramedic Subscription

The City of Santa Ana is now offering a voluntary paramedic subscription program designed to help residents save on emergency medical response costs. In an effort to curb the high cost of ambulance transport service, this annual subscription provides unlimited access to Santa Ana’s contracted emergency medical system for Santa Ana residents and those in their households, whether they have health insurance or not. Insurance, Medicare, or Medi-Cal will be billed, but as a subscriber, you pay no additional cost beyond the annual fee of $70.

Important details:

  • Only services provided within Santa Ana are covered
  • Routine ambulance transport is not included
  • All permanent occupants of a subscriber’s household are covered, while guests and visitors are not
  • Services will never be denied based on your subscription status

While paramedics will always respond when needed, becoming a subscriber gives you peace of mind knowing your household is protected from unexpected costs.
