Location: North East corner of S. Main St. and E. Mcfadden Ave. intersection
Through the development of the SanTana’s Fairy Tales project, local artists Sarah Rafael García and Carla Zarate collaborated to integrate community-based narratives into graphic images that represent the history and stories of Mexican/Mexican-American residents of Santa Ana. Their utility box recreates the images from the original exhibition as a site-specific mural through the use of acrylic paint and wheat-pasted images.
