‘Sister Cities’ Mural Unveiling

Update November 14: Due to forecast rain, the event program has been moved to the Friday Cinema, 305 E. 4th St. The mural unveiling will follow at Plaza Calle Cuatro.

The City of Santa Ana and the City of Sahuayo, Michoacan, Mexico, invite the community to the unveiling of our new “Sister Cities” mural at Plaza Calle Cuatro in downtown Santa Ana on Saturday, November 15, at 12 p.m. at  Artists from Santa Ana and Sahuayo collaborated to create a vibrant mural that blends cultural traditions and shared stories such as themes of heritage, migration and community unity. The event will feature a performance and dignitaries from both cities. Santa Ana and Sahuayo formed a sister city partnership in October 2022.
