Roots in Clay

Connect with history through art at the Pacific Electric Community Garden! Join us on Tuesday, August 12, from 6–7 p.m. for a free hands-on workshop where you’ll create ancestral-inspired pottery using quick-dry clay. We’ll also explore the rich cultural heritage of the Tongva people, including traditional soapstone carving and basket weaving practices once used in what is now Orange County.  Free and open to all ages  — come learn, create, and celebrate local Indigenous history!
