About the Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention (HHAP3) grant

HHAP Round 3 is designed to build on regional coordination developed through previous rounds of State funding.  It provides local jurisdictions with flexible funding to continue efforts to end and prevent homelessness in their communities. The application must include a local homelessness action plan with a landscape analysis that assesses the current number of people experiencing homelessness, funds currently being used, and budgeted to be used to provide housing and homelessness-related services.  HHAP funding is to be housing-focused either for permanent housing interventions, or for shelter and street outreach with clear pathways to connect people to permanent housing options.
