Free Bike Lights and Helmets during Lights Alive 2_7_2024

Join Santa Ana Active Streets (SAAS) on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, between 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the corner of Bristol Street and Warner Avenue to receive free bike lights and helmets during the Lights Alive or Luces Vivas event. Materials will be distributed until they run out, so please arrive in a timely manner to ensure you receive the items. The distribution of items is specifically located on intersections of the City with high collision rates for pedestrians and cyclists.

¡Luces Vivas! is an educational and night light distribution program intended to provide encouragement and safety materials to residents of Santa Ana. Our goal is to seek out people riding or walking without lights and help them be more visible. To volunteer or for more information visit saascoalition.org/events or contact Maria Baeza at 714-202-73932, maria@saascoalition.org.

Santa Ana Active Streets is contracted by the City’s Public Works Traffic Engineering Division to host education and interactive events around traffic safety.  Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
