22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701

The Santa Ana Public Library will hold its 17th Annual Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros (Children’s Day, Book Day) celebration on Saturday, April 26, in the plaza between the Main Library and City Hall. The free festivities will include a book giveaway for children, trackless train rides, an inflatable Fun Derby, activity stations, 8-track slot car racing, face painting, and a presentation featuring award-winning author Naibe Reynoso and author and songwriter Heidi Rojas featuring their books “How to Stuff a Piñata” and “I Am Enough.”
Children will enjoy a meet-and-greet with our favorite book character, Biscuit, from the popular Biscuit book series. Performance demonstrations include an interactive show by Kiddle Karoo and Juggler Extraordinaire, Michael Rayner. Also included as part of the festivities will be free food items such as nachos, hot dogs and Italian ice. Free food items will be distributed to those in attendance while supplies last. There will also be a resource fair with exhibitors from various City of Santa Ana departments.
