This time of year marks the traditional harvest season, when fruits and vegetables are gathered from the fields before the arrival of winter. Apples, in particular, are at their peak—making them one of the most commonly harvested fruits during this season. Their popularity is due not only to their ripeness but also to the legacy of Johnny Appleseed, whose efforts helped spread apple orchards across the country.
