On July 1, 2025, City Council unanimously approved an emergency housing assistance program for Santa Ana families impacted by immigration enforcement. The program uses local funds from the City's events budget; $100,000 has been set-aside for this program.
What is Ayuda Sin Fronteras?
Santa Ana Ayuda Sin Fronteras ("Help without borders") is a city-led emergency relief program providing direct assistance to families affected by immigration enforcement actions. If you or a loved one has been detained, deported, or otherwise impacted by ICE activity, we're here to help. If you need help completing the application, feel free to drop by City Hall or the WORK Center and we will help you complete an application.
What do we offer?
We offer emergency housing assistance grants for families that have been impacted by ICE activity. We offer up to one month's worth of housing expenses to help with past due rent and utility bills.
How do I apply?
To get assistance you will need to be referred through one of our trusted partners, please reach out to the Ayuda Sin Fronteras team for more information on how to be referred for assistance. This program is only available to Santa Ana residents.
The City of Santa Ana has put together a webpage of immigration resources and other community services. We are committed to the safety of all residents regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, country of origin, or immigration status.
