Background and experience
Mr. Hodge is an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Santa Ana. As part of his duties, Mr. Hodge serves as counsel for the Community Development Agency, in which he advises on various legal issues, prepares necessary contracts, resolutions and ordinances, and is advisory counsel for the Community Redevelopment and Housing Commission, the Arts and Culture Commission, and the Oversight Board, among other tasks.
Prior to joining the City of Santa Ana in February of 2008, Mr. Hodge worked in civil litigation at a private law firm in Orange County.

Mr. Hodge is admitted to practice law in California and before the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Education
Mr. Hodge received his Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame in 2001, and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004.
