Paul Eakins

As the Public Affairs Information Officer, Paul is responsible for coordinating the City’s community engagement activities and will be the main contact person for all official City communications. For details about the position, please see the PAIO job description on our website.

Paul has more than 20 years of experience in public affairs and communication, most recently having served as a Public Information Officer for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. He has also served as the Managing Editor for the Los Angeles Business Journal and Local Editor for the Orange County Register, among other roles with organizations in Southern California, Kansas, and Veracruz, Mexico. Paul is fluent in English and Spanish. He received his B.S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas, Lawrence.
