Mayor Valerie Amezcua has joined mayors across the country in asking residents to make a pledge by April 30 to conserve water.

The National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation is a friendly competition between cities to see who can be the most “water-wise” by pledging ways they plan on saving water, energy and more. Cities with the highest percentage of residents who take the challenge will win. Participants in the winning cities are eligible to win hundreds of prizes, including up to $3,000 toward their annual utility bills and water-saving fixtures.

Rise to the challenge and make your pledge April 1-30 at mywaterpledge.com. It’s easy and it only takes a few minutes!
