Hometown Heroes military recognition banner unveiling

Join us for an unveiling of a series of street banners to recognize our active-duty service members. Coined “Hometown Heroes,” this pilot program proudly features the name and branch of participating service members to acknowledge and thank them for their service to our country. To commemorate the launch of this pilot program, we will be presenting the street banners at Bomo Koral Park, adjacent to the MacArthur Boulevard corridor where the banners will eventually be installed

About the Hometown Heroes program

The City of Santa Ana is proud to recognize Santa Ana’s military heroes for their service through the City’s Military Banner Program. Family members and loved ones may nominate an active duty service member from any branch of the military to be honored with a street banner with the service member’s name and photo. The banner will be prominently displayed on one of the City’s streetlight poles along MacArthur Boulevard or Civic Center Drive.
