The City of Santa Ana Public Works team invited a 4th grade class from Jackson Elementary school to witness the Windsor Park prefabricated restroom installation up close and to learn about construction, planning, engineering, and community involvement.

Our staff gave a brief presentation of the procedure, while answering questions from the students. The youth were able to come out to the project vicinity and have a close-up view of a crane placing the brand-new restroom.

As a special commemoration, some students had the chance to imprint their hands on freshly placed concrete, which will later be installed near the restroom. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with the leaders of tomorrow, reinforce their educational opportunities in engineering, and provide insight into the operations that shape our community.
