La Artista Marina Aguilera

Marina’s passion for the arts blossomed during her childhood, as she immersed herself in her surroundings and expressed herself through various artistic mediums. At the age of 14, Marina a Santa Ana native joined a mural group comprised of young artists, where she contributed to the transformation of graffiti-ravaged walls into vibrant and culturally enriched murals. Together with her fellow muralists, Marina created an impressive collection of 30 to 40 murals that proudly adorned the streets of Santa Ana between 1974 and 1979.

In the 1980s, Marina worked as a caricature artist at Disney Hotel before venturing out on her own as a professional caricaturist and establishing her business, CaricaturesByMarina.com. Her skillful drawings have gained recognition worldwide, spanning a career of over 30 years.

Beyond caricature art, Marina is also a fine artist, known as “La Artista,” who has exhibited and shared her exquisite artwork throughout Southern California and Mexico.
