Hora de C.R.E.A.R: Nicho de Papel para el Día de Muertos

Celebrate the Day of the Dead with us by creating your own paper nicho. Nichos are ‘shadow box’ style frames from Latin American folk art. Nichos are made from mixed media and traditionally combine elements from mestizo spirituality and popular culture. We invite you to bring a small photo of the person whom you want to make your paper altar to, or you can use one of the icons that we will provide. El nicho es un tipo de artesanía latinoamericana que mezcla medios mixtos y tradicionalmente combinan elementos de espiritualidad mestiza y la cultura popular. Te invitamos a traer una foto chica de la persona a la que le desees hacerle su altar de papel o bien puedes usar uno de los iconos que proporcionaremos.
