Find Your Voice Essay Contest

August 12th is International Youth Day. In celebration of contributions and potential of young people, the SAPL TeenSpace invites youth ages 10-17 to participate in the Find Your Voice essay contest. Find your voice to answer the following prompt:
In what ways can young people contribute to building a sustainable and inclusive world? Discuss the challenges youth face and the solutions that can be implemented to empower young people to take an active role in shaping the future.
Contest guidelines:
Contest opens on first day of the summer reading program.
Entries are due by 08/12/23 11:59 PM.
Middle grade category (Ages 10-13): 750 words/1.5 pages
High school category (Ages 14-17): 1500 words/3 pages
