Join us as we say goodbye to one our oldest aquatic facilities in Santa Ana, during the Thanks for the Memories Memorial Pool event. This event will mark the final day of normal operating hours at Memorial Pool, as it is decommissioned to make way for a reimagining project bringing a new state of the art aquatic facility. This free-family event will be open to all and include family-friendly fun.
During the celebration guests can enjoy
- Open recreation swim (for the duration of the event)
- A pumpkin patch splash
- Activity booths
- Informational booths
- Updates from contractor ELS+SWA on the project concept designs

Pumpkin patch splash details
The pumpkin patch splash will be free and open to all participants ages 4-17. All swimmers who would like to participate must register through CivicRec and are required wear proper swim attire. Lifejackets and flotation devices are not allowed during the pumpkin patch splash. Check-in will begin at 11:30am and there are 5 age groups with corresponding time slots available, 50 participants per ages group maximum.
The Pumpkin patch splash will take place from 12:00pm - 2:15pm
Time slots:
Ages 4-5: 12:00pm - 12:15pm
Ages 6-7: 12:30pm -12:45pm
Ages 8-9: 1:00pm - 1:15pm
Ages 10-12: 1:30pm - 1:45pm
Ages 13-17: 2:00pm - 2:15pm
