Revive Santa Ana: City Council OKs Winter Ice-Skating Rink, Cleaning of Pedestrian and Bike Areas

New Programs Will Encourage Outdoor Recreation and Healthy Activities.

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana residents will be able to enjoy a public ice-skating rink this winter and will see more cleaning and sanitizing of high-traffic pedestrian and bicycle areas, thanks to the City Council’s approval of two new Revive Santa Ana measures, on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

City Council Approves Childcare Centers and Health Agency Study Under Revive Santa Ana

SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Santa Ana City Council this week approved agreements to provide childcare services at two community centers and conduct a feasibility study on creating a municipal public health agency.

These are two of the first programs to move forward under the Revive Santa Ana pandemic recovery initiative.

The City of Santa Ana is planning to use $142.9 million from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to launch Revive Santa Ana, a comprehensive pandemic recovery initiative that also will allow the City to reimagine the services it provides.
