As Resident Stimulus Program Starts, Shop Local

As the City of Santa Ana launches the Revive Santa Ana Resident Stimulus Program, we encourage everyone who receives a stimulus card to shop local.

In the first weekend of the program, over 100 City employees knocked on doors to hand out cards. They were joined by Mayor Vicente Sarmiento, Mayor Pro Tem David Penaloza, City Manager Kristine Ridge, and several members of the City's executive team, who all volunteered their time to help.

Eviction Moratorium Ended Sept. 30; Apply Now for Rental Assistance

The State of California’s eviction moratorium ended on September 30, 2021. The City of Santa Ana has not extended a local eviction moratorium for residential or commercial tenants past that date.

Tenants are currently protected from eviction for debt accumulated between April 2020 and September 2021 if they have an application in process with a rental assistance program, such as the City’s CARES for Tenants Program.

Revive Santa Ana: City Council OKs Winter Ice-Skating Rink, Cleaning of Pedestrian and Bike Areas

New Programs Will Encourage Outdoor Recreation and Healthy Activities.

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Santa Ana residents will be able to enjoy a public ice-skating rink this winter and will see more cleaning and sanitizing of high-traffic pedestrian and bicycle areas, thanks to the City Council’s approval of two new Revive Santa Ana measures, on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
