Revive Santa Ana Resident Stimulus Program

The City of Santa Ana is distributing $6 million in prepaid Visa debit cards to households in the most impoverished areas of the city under the Revive Santa Ana Resident Stimulus Program. About 20,000 rental units will each receive a prepaid card valued at $300 that can be spent at any business that accepts Visa.

FAQs:

Who qualifies to get a card?

Rental units in Census tracts with poverty rates above Santa Ana’s median poverty rate of 42% (based on the Orange County Equity Map) qualify to receive a prepaid card. The City has identified the addresses through its database of rental properties enrolled in the City’s Proactive Rental Enforcement Program (PREP), for which all Santa Ana landlords are required to sign up. Landlords can learn more about PREP here.

How will I receive the card?

The City will distribute the prepaid Visa cards door-to-door beginning in December. If staff is unable to contact a head of household at an address, they will follow up at a later date.
