Mission Statement: To provide the highest quality of maintenance services to the community in a cost-efficient and timely manner for a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment.
The Public Works Agency’s Maintenance Services Division maintains over 400 centerline miles of roadway, over 800 linear miles of sidewalk and includes but is not limited to the following services: roadway cleaning, roadway maintenance, street tree maintenance, street sweeping, graffiti abatement on streets, and street striping and traffic signs. The goal of these services is to directly improve the quality of life of city residents, businesses, and visitors.
The City's Public Works Professionals work year-round and pro-actively address service issues daily. Equally as important are citizens of the City who help the community in reporting service needs as they encounter them. Each year, maintenance staff responds to tens of thousands of service requests from the public and from pro-active efforts. If you see a service issue on City streets, please inform us and we will address it as soon as possible.
