Jail Administrator Christina Holland has worked for Department’s Jail Bureau since 1993. She began her career as a Detention Officer for the 92-bed Santa Ana Detention Facility. She was promoted to Correctional Supervisor in 1995 and held various supervisory positions within the Jail Bureau and the Department’s Training Division. While assigned to the Training Division, she developed the Department’s first comprehensive Correctional Officer Training Program. In 2006 she was promoted to Correctional Manager and was responsible for the Jail’s Support Services Division. In 2013 she was promoted to Police Administrative Manager and was responsible for Jail Operations and the Police Records Division. In 2015, she was promoted to the position of Jail Administrator where she oversees the 512-bed Direct Supervision Jail facility. In 2006, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University. The Jail Bureau includes the Jail Operations Division and the Administration/Support Services Division.
