The applicant, MainPlace Shoppingtown, LLC, has submitted an application for a master plan to allow up to 1,900 residential units, 400 hotel rooms, 1,400,000 total square feet of commercial space, and up to 750,000 square feet of office space. The project will require a approval of a zone change to create a new specific development (SD) zoning district and CEQA documentation.
City staff are currently reviewing the project. A recommendation by staff, based on information provided by the applicant and on the plans, must be decided before a public hearing is scheduled before the Planning Commission and City Council.
