Grand Opening Ceremony and Tree Lighting on Thursday, Dec. 9

The City of Santa Ana is bringing the joys of winter to the heart of Orange County with the Santa Ana Winter Village.

This month-long celebration of holiday fun features the City’s first outdoor ice-skating rink, trackless train rides, visits with Santa Claus, story time with Mrs. Claus, food trucks, Anaheim Ducks Street Team, community groups, vendors and more. Some activities are free, and ice-skating tickets can be purchased in advance.

A special grand opening and tree-lighting ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9, with City officials, ice-skating performances and more. The ice-skating rink is open 2-9 p.m.

The Winter Village is presented by the City of Santa Ana as part of the City’s Revive Santa Ana pandemic recovery initiative funded by the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to promote the beautiful and historic downtown. Come for the ice-skating and stay downtown for the shopping and restaurants!

Santa Ana Winter Village is next to City Hall at 20 Civic Center Plaza with parking located at 601 N. Flower Street. RECOMMENDED PARKING: For lower parking rates and more availability, please park in the downtown parking structures by 4th Street.
