Virtual Workshop on Rent Stabilization and Just Cause Eviction Ordinances - Spanish

The City of Santa Ana is holding a virtual workshop in Spanish on Wednesday, December 8, about the new Rent Stabilization Ordinance and the Just Cause Eviction Ordinance. The workshop will take place at 6 p.m. via Zoom.

The public is invited to attend and learn more about these new renter protection laws that went into effect on November 19, 2021.

The Santa Ana City Council adopted the two new ordinances on October 19, 2021, to help protect renters:

1)         Rent Stabilization Ordinance, which limits residential rent increases to no more than 3% per year.

2)         Just Cause Eviction Ordinance, which limits the allowed reasons for which a renter can be evicted.
