Environmental Justice Community Open House

Category: Planning and Building, General Plan

Some neighborhoods in Santa Ana experience higher burdens of pollution and associated health risks.

You are invited to attend an in-person Environmental Justice forum at the Southwest Senior Center on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., where staff will share information related to the environmental burdens residents face; what goals, actions, and policies are in the draft General Plan Update to address these issues; and provide a summary of the results of the environmental justice survey that was completed in the Spring.

For those who are unable to attend in person, the meeting will also be streamed live on the City's YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/CityofSantaAnavideos/

In addition, community stakeholders will be in attendance to share information about the work they are doing to address environmental justice issues in the Santa Ana community.

Community members are encouraged to attend to provide feedback, learn about the resources available to them, and to learn about the environmental justice survey results.
