Free Classes on Bicycle Maintenance and Safety

Join Santa Ana Active Streets (SAAS) every Tuesday, starting August 9th through September 27, 2022 in this collaboration with The Bicycle Tree located at 702 W 17th St C, Santa Ana, CA 92706 for Wrench and Ride, a free eight-week course in which participants learn about bicycle anatomy, bike safety, and maintenance.
As part of the program, people select a used bike and repair it using the new skills they learn each week. Participants receive a helmet, lock, and lights to go with their bike. This cohort is for youth ages 13-18 and will meet from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Register at https://bit.ly/3r2MNdH or scan QR code on the flyer.

Santa Ana Active Streets is contracted by the City’s Public Works Traffic Engineering Division to host education and interactive events around traffic safety. Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
