Free Bicycle Maintenance and Safety Classes

Sign up for a Wrench and Ride bicycle maintenance safety class with Santa Ana Active Streets this summer at The Bicycle Tree!

Wrench & Ride is a FREE 8 week program taught on Tuesdays in collaboration with The Bicycle Tree. Participants will learn about bicycle repair and maintenance, bicycle anatomy, and bike safety. Participants will have the opportunity to select a used bike and repair it using the new skills they learn each week. After completing the sessions, participants keep the bike they have been working on! Everyone also gets a helmet, lock, and lights to go with their bike.

We will have TWO separate cohorts.
Cohort A: Folks 55+ (class will be taught in Spanish), 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Cohort B: YOUTH ages 13-18 years old, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Dates: Every Tuesday, June 4th-July 30th

Santa Ana Active Streets is contracted by the City’s Public Works Traffic Engineering Division to host education and interactive events around traffic safety.
