Build Your Own Scarecrow! Join us for a fun, hands-on activity at the El Salvador Park Community Garden on Wednesday, July 16 from 4:30 – 6 p.m., where you’ll create your very own scarecrow—just like farmers have been doing for over 3,000 years! Scarecrows are a time-tested way to protect crops from hungry birds and animals. So, come help guard our summer harvest and take part in this age-old farming tradition! Free and open to all ages.
