Santa Ana CARES Child Care Grant
Grant Eligibility Summary:
The Santa Ana Child Care Assistance program is designed to assist households within the City of Santa Ana that have been affected by COVID-19. The Santa Ana CARES Child Care Assistance Grant will provide up to $1,000 for Santa Ana households impacted by COVID-19 and
- Have Become Unemployed OR
- Family Income Has Been Reduced OR
- Is an Essential Worker AND
requires Child Care to stay on the job or get back to work.
Residents must certify that their financial need is a result of COVID-19 and that they require assistance to pay their child care costs. Households will be limited to one grant, irrespective of the number of children in the Household.
Funding is allocated on a first come first serve basis in the form of a single grant. Only one grant can be issued per eligible household address. Again, as applications will be reviewed and approved on a first come first serve basis, it is critical you submit your completed application as soon as possible before the limited funding is allocated. Once all funding is allocated, the application will close. Only submitted applications that receive an application confirmation number will be considered. You will receive an auto-generated confirmation email once you have submitted your application. The email will include your application confirmation number and a link to a copy of your submitted application.
